The Romanos in Rome

Italy day 1 Today is special for two reasons; today Derek and I celebrate our first year anniversary and it also marked the first day of our our trip to Italy. We hit the ground running! I'd be lying if I told you our first day in Italy was smooth sailing; most things didn't go our our way....maybe due to sleep deprivation. :)  Getting money at the ATM was our first adventure in the airport here in Rome. The machine decided it didn't feel like letting us use the English option we had selected, so we made our first international transaction in Italian!
